YOU before ME

Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." Don't do anything out of "selfish ambition vain conceit"... that means that we shouldn't do things because it will benefit ourselves.. Or make us look better. But instead, in humility, put others before yourself!! Become a servant like Jesus was!

Gods Comfort

2 Corinthians 1:4 "who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God comforts us so that we can comfort the people who are in trouble with comfort God has already given us!! Give your comfort to someone else today and God will continue to comfort you!!

Set your minds on...

Colossians 3:2 "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." we should focus completely on things from above: Serving, relationships, Jesus, etc. Don't let your mind get stuck on earthly things!! Heavenly things are all that matter!

Our God.

Psalm 86:15 "But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness." Even though we let him down all the time, our God is compassionate and gracious towards us. He's slow to anger, and overflowing with love and faithfulness. What an awesome example that is to us...

Closer...

James 4:8 "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." God is waiting on you. The closer you put yourself to God, the closer he will put himself to you! Wash your hands from the sin in your life and draw near to God!!
