Perseverance

Hebrews 10:36 "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised." Even though sometimes doing God's will is hard and you feel like you want to quit, persevere through it and you will be blessed and receive what God promised!! God knows way more than us and his plan is way better than ours!! Just follow his will! You will be rewarded!

Holy and Honorable

1 Thessalonians 4:4 "...that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable," We need to all learn how to control our bodies in a holy and honorable way. That means being careful what you eat, what you drink, what you do, what you say, and even what you wear! Your body is a demonstration of Jesus living inside you!!

His Purpose and Grace

2 Timothy 1:9 "He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time," God has this huge, holy plan for us - not because we did anything good but because he loves us and wants to show us grace and his purpose! He had this planned out long before we were even born!! Thank you Jesus for your grace!

The Opportunity Jesus Gives Us

2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." God made Jesus, who was completely pure of sin, to die on the cross for OUR sins, so that we have the chance to be the righteousness of God!! Jesus gave his life up...we should take the opportunity he's given us to be righteous!

Be Content!

Philippians 4:12 "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." We should be content in every situation too! Whether you have everything you think you need or not! We always have Jesus, and he is EVERYTHING WE NEED!! Be CONTENT!!
